On September 22, 2021 - When we first started our DIY journey we really had no idea what to expect. It was a rapid decision, without a fixed strategy and so far out of my comfort zone.
Everything in me said “ I can’t do this. I don’t know how.” I’ve never been handy. I still don’t understand the metric system. I cut before I measure. I’m clumsy. If ever there was something unsuitable for my skill set, this was it.
But I have my husband. And if ever there was a time to believe in his drive, passion and ability; this was it.
So I let go of my fear and let go of all of the doubts and decided to follow his lead. And it was the best decision outside of moving across the world and marrying him. And the fact that you are all interested in this journey makes it so much fun and sometimes scary.
I am not equipped, but he is. And we have met some amazing people who have decided to help us. And now we get to share it with a few more people.
