On October 27, 2021 - Peter has begun prepping the canvas in his studio. Melpomeme and Thalia are the first of our Muses. He's done two coats of primer and positioned the papercut onto the canvas.
He will then have to draw the drapes and he will make a pounce (a method of transferring a prepatory drawing for painting from paper to another surface) because the drapes repeat throughout all four trophy panels.

Peter a commencé à préparer la toile dans son atelier. Melpomeme et Thalia sont les premières de nos Muses. Il a appliqué deux couches d'apprêt et positionné le papier découpé sur la toile.
Il devra ensuite dessiner les rideaux et il fera un bond (une méthode de transfert d'un dessin préparatoire à la peinture du papier à une autre surface) car les rideaux se répètent sur les quatre panneaux du trophée.
Un pas en avant très excitant !
