On April 7, 2020 - Although we have failed in our attempt to Escape to the Chateau, work still carries on without us there. Grateful to Paul for his work and update photos. These steps lead up to the entrance of our main gîte. Previously, you had to undertake a perilous journey (especially if it rained) up a pretty steep slope. I can’t wait to see what they look like once they carry on down, the shuttering is finished, the concrete is poured and slate tops installed... at least that’s how I think it works
