On April 14, 2020 - The steps are pretty much finished, awaiting the slate tops. Paul has also cut the hedges and had a general tidy up. He says that the orchard is looking good and all the trees have taken. The laurel hedge by the front gate is really starting to fill out, the knotweed in front of the chateau is looking really weak so Paul thinks we may be rid of it this year. The woodshed is on its last legs and needs replacing. May 11th is the next possible date where we can make a run for it and see everything for ourselves!! Please let this forced separation end soon!!
