On January 11, 2018 - We’ve started the process of reclaiming the paths in the wood. Apparently, we have boar.
As I remain in London ensuring that life ticks on, Ben continues to meet our new neighbours. Starting the day with the boar and ending it with our own flock of bully bird Starlings in murmuration. I’ve read nothing good about these birds except that they are kinda pretty and smart and mimics. May have to invest in some hawks.
On January 12, 2018 - Yesterday, someone came up the drive to have a nosey. They explained to Ben that they were originally from the village and were driving past and were curious to see if someone bought the old Chateau. They gave Ben some more history. Before becoming a children’s facility it was occupied by priests. The wood was a park. Supposedly there was an old prayer structure somewhere. Ben’s found it!
On January 13, 2018 - Today’s treasure.... Ben has found a pond in the wood.
